| Hey all. I've had SM for a while now, and still haven't beaten it. Today, I decided to take a stab at finishing it. I'm on the Otto Boss fight and it's giving me heck. i'm on the last part of the fight. Can anyone give me some sort of strategy on how to beat him? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Zonified | Make sure you have the PDA, Static Barrier, Shock Rocket (optional), Lazer Tracer, and lots o' bolts. Right when the battle starts, equip a sheild and use the Shock Rocket (or use the Lazer Tracer for quicker results but you will be using needed ammo) to destroy his own sheild. While doing this, make sure you dodge his attacks. You'll take his sheild out soon, and while he is unprotected, use your Lazer Tracer to hurt him. Right when he makes another sheild, use your PDA to buy more ammo and sheilds. Now just lather, rinse, repeat! And, if you dodged most of his attacks, you should be able to take him down quick enough. I'm not sure if I have everything right since I'm going off of memory but this should work. Hope this helps.

Thanks Zonified! Actually, If you want to beat it faster there is a glitch. I can't remember it very well, but you need to jump on a rock out of the battle field, so his attacks can't reach you.. Well I won't really try the glitchy way, I'm going for the normal one..

minameissteve | Lacerators also help to bring the sheild down. The Rocket Launcher should reduce his health quickely. Don't hit Otto with the Wrench after you beat him. It's said that this causes a glitch that makes the wrench useless in Challenge Mode.

Mopthefloo | dual lacs are the best way. i think Otto is the hardest boss in RaC history. unless you have the RYNO. then he's the easyest

lol.. With the RYNO, every single boss, in any R&C game is easy.. For talking in hardest, I'll talk in easiest.. Tachyon & Slag/Darkwater were the easiest, IMO.
