| This has been one of the most discussed topics in all the gaming world.
I just want to know your opinion. Even if you have already thought of a million reasons to decide which one is better take a look at this series: Starting on the Controller: Click Here You are then lead to the other videos in the series (take a look at the video description)

I must say.. Before even taking a look at this series I had seen many of this comparisons, but most of them would make one of the consoles worst on purpose.
This is not the case. I'm a real PS fan and I haven't been much over the X360. Even when I was to buy my console I asked some of those nice guys at Gamestop which one was better and everyone of them answered: "PS3!"
Well, I had no doubt, I mean.. It probably has more future than the X360 because of it's core, processor, Blu-Ray..
But after watching these videos... I just started to think a bit differently. Firstly - PS3 has better exclusives - Check Secondly - PS3 has almost everytime worst anti-aliasing and/or textures and graphics than X360 on Multi-Platform Games due to the X360 being the base programing since it was released earlier. That's just really bad. Even having more potencial, developers are just too lazy to explore the power of the PS3 with their games just because it's harder to? Thirdly - The Online Experience.. Well XBOX has this one definitly and this is what SONY needs to really update on their console. Just compare the features. I'm sorry PS3 but you look like nothing compared to the XBOX live.. =( I know it is payed but still... many more features and a much more cooler look I still love the PS3 and I really like the way things play on it but I think it really needs some improvements Online Experince and User interface - Wise. This is just my opinion and I want to know yours.
So what's your favourite console and what do you think that should be improved on the PS3?

TOY_ROBOT | The thing with comparing consoles is that it's practically pointless because people will buy them based on preference. talk to Xboxers, and they say their controller is much better while PSers say theirs is. Xboys say their series' are better, while PSboys say theirs are. It's like politics in gaming. Both sides think they are right. And when it comes to an online experience, I personally still prefer PS's. The only sorta neat thing about Xbox are their little avatar guys. I still prefer PS3's XMB over their dashboard. And, of course, I like our game series much better. I was never too impressed by GOW, and HALO is pretty mediocre IMO. But, that's just my opinion. I'm not one of those fanboys that only like PS exclusives, though. Multi-plats are great games.

I know that and that's exactly why I brought it up here. Because I know that our little community here is not rude or real fanboys either. (I can be wrong :S but I don't think that way. I really like you guys! :D)
I just want you to be true and express your opinion.
Therefore I think we shouldn't bring the fanboy's talk over this thread and lets not make it pointless in here

Pretty much, the way I look at it, whatever offers the best of what I'm interested in personally will "win". I choose the PS3 mainly for exclusives, It's not that Halo is bad at all (actually it's great). I prefer games like Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank or Gran Turismo over it. I'm used to the controller layout. And online is actually fine and dandy for me, as long as I can actually play online with others, I don't see any real reasons to pay for online. I'm a big fan of quality, so as a Blu-ray player, the PS3 was a good choice for me. I actually use the hard-drive to store pictures and videos and I have several Blu-ray movies as well. I also use the Internet browser when friends come over to go on Youtube (which the 360 doesn't have). The 360 is also good, It can also store data, and It has great online. The exclusives themselves are fine, but I'm a little iffy on that whole "RROD" thing.

1. My favorite games are its exlusives
2. Free online play
3. New motion controls and now 3D
4. Six-axis controller
5. Handy dandy blu ray player/ image storer/ computer overall
6. All I can think of...
Cons:
1. PSN is not as full as Xbox Live
2. In need of new update. (current interface is, bleh)
3. Doesn't have Halo or Gears... 
4. All I can think of... Xbox 360
Pros
1. Great online community
2. Halo, Gears, Fable exclusives
3. Natal... kinda
4. All I can think of
Cons
1. Online play costs $$$
2. Doesn't have awesome games like PS3
3. RROD
4. Loud when playing
5. No Blu-Ray!
6. All I can think of... I looked at these things when I went to get my PS3 or Xbox... for me, the choice was clear... PS3.

Dark__Gamer | I think the 360 has better online experience (stability wise) and the controller is more grippy but other then that I think Ps3 is the way to go. The Ps3 is creeper in the long run, cause you have to pay extra for HD movie player, wi-fi, rechargeable batteries and online play. You can use probably any HDD in the PS3 if you want. With the 360 you have to buy the damn HDD's and they are limited to space, and they aren't cheap either. When it comes to graphics the Ps3 isn't used to it's fullest. But if you compare start-up resolution and menu resolution the Ps3 wins..

Mopthefloo | Quote (ShiFT) So what's your favourite console and what do you think that should be improved on the PS3? personally, i just think that the PS3 is better because they continuously improve with what's new. such as the motion controls, camera, and now 3D. the fact that PS3 had blu-ray, sixaxis, AND PSeye at launch means that it was already putting itself on the top of the mountain. it does not need to climb, it only has to wait for the mountain to get bigger until it can rise to the top once more. whereas the Xbox started near the bottom of the mountain, requiring it to invest in it's new camera. even now it's only about 75% up the mountain.
