| Yes it does. Every time they attack a planet, the ship goes there. What about: The main part of the level is the Starship Phoenix, and then you take the drop-ship somewhere, with some Galactic Rangers.

| You see, the reason is that its called a "drop ship" because its intended for planetary travel including dropping in from the upper atmosphere. The dropship does not have facilities for long range (interplanetary/interstellar) travel. So, many places, Ratchet went on his own, but all the places the Rangers went, the Phoenix went. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense for it to be a ship...
