| While I will agree that games are designed around having lots of re-playability and being addicting, anyone could develop an addiction and go bad if that addiction is taken away. (Drugs for instance)

| Interesting read Dark__Gamer. I've contemplated the connection between violence and video games and I've realized that it's really small. Video games are just as much of an influence as movies, music and other types of media and not as harmful as some parents think. A lot of parents bring up the school shootings that were "influenced" by video games (I use quatations because this is what the shooters used to defend their stupid actions). But if you look at it statistically, a game like GTA III has sold 12 million and at one point a teen said that was his influence for a school shoot-out. That's like 1 in 12,000,000. I mean if you really think about it, it's not hard to believe 1 person in 12 million becomes crazy after a game when you compare this statistic to drunk driving accidents, and other death related statistics. That's my 2 cents anyway.

| I agree and disagree. IMO, anything negative will have some negative effect on you if you let it.

| MAG is great. i preordered it. for those of you who haven't tried it, and think it's garbage because you compare it to other shooters, and imagine it with 256 players, guess what. u r rong. you spawn in WAVES. you don't randomly spawn all over the map. it's on one corner of the map that is "off-limits" to the other team. meaning they can't even reach the spawn point. it's not unorganised either. in a 256 player match, 1 team (128 players) is split into 4 platoons. each platoon is split up into 4 squads with 8 players in each squad. each platoon spwans on a different corner of the map, while the other team spawns in the "base" where there are 8 objectives they need to defend. each platoon goes for 2 of those objectives. all you need to worry about is your squad's objective. and the OIC (officer in charge) will tell each squad and platoon what to do. (the OIC can be anyone playing who is expirienced enough). it's a game of major teamwork. i've never seen anything like it.

I think the formula works great on paper, but I haven't quite seen the community, how was the community while you played MTF?
