How do you guys plan out your levels? I've had LBP for like 2 years now and I really want to get into creating levels but it's a bit overwhelming. So could you guys provide some tips? It would help a bunch lol

You're a bit late for creating my friend.

Naw, it's never too late. But LBP2 is around the corner (sooner for me :P)

Anyway, to make a good level you must learn to master the power of logic! Which is when you use a bunch of those key switches and pistons and dark matter to make insane creations.

When I made levels, I started with a simple sketch of the layout of the level. It helps to see how things will look. It's also a good idea to sketch contraptions or objects you plan on making. smile

@KillerKy: Can you teach me how to use logic? I'm not very good at it and I'm planning on making my R&C levels for LBP2.

It's just that with TES V coming out soon, and the LBP2 Beta around the corner... i'm not sure if i'll have time sad

Still, it won't be released until late 2011, or 2012, like I said. I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to teach Ratchet_Co to use logic.
