So I just wanted to summarize this up. I am almost finished with Novalis, while I still got allot left to do. you can see what it is about to become. All I got left is this:

Finish up Novalis:
1) Finish all the textures
2) Draw place where you meet the plumber
3) * - Not sure: Draw robots/civilians
4) Draw spaceships

5) Finish up a PERFECT night version of novalis
6) Create a war version of novalis as present in Ratchet and Clank 1
7) Start up aridia
8) Hope to finish aridia quick and better then novalis so I can start on Metropolis biggrin

Planet Novalis - Concept: http://oi55.tinypic.com/a1hjly.jpg
Planet Novalis - Clear: Haven't gotten a clear version, will obtain one when finishing

The other topics may be removed. I am looking forward to feedback. I think it is actually crap, still an improvement over Veldin but still crap. That is just how I see it. If I compare it to other people's work I think I suck at this. But I am still practicing...

Anyway.

Feedback would be appriciated.

It's all fantastic work. Don't worry, if I were to compare my work to yours, I'd probably give up. Keep it up, and try not to criticize yourself. Although, they do say that most famous artists always found errors in their work. wink

I'll lock the other threads and put a link to this one.

Just keep it up. They look really neat. I personally prefer the second night picture of Novalis. smile

Wow omg. I was just asking some advice from Neolight, the person who posted the awesome Ratchet art on the IG forums. And I showed him my Novalis art and look what he did to it.

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3225495/paintover.jpg

Now THAT is something I want to accomplish. But the lightning effects he did isn't compatible with my program so I asked him how he did it, what program he used, etc. It is just to awesome.

Edit: The [img][/img] code somethimes doesn't work on this forums, or is it just me.

Keep up the good work -- I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it as good as Neolight's. smile

Howdy,

I took Neolight's advice. I never tried photoshop before as it was always complicated to me. Over hours I started to understand it. I tried to improve my drawing on the way you did. It ain't anything special, but it looks better then it's original. I took my time on Novalis. I tried Veldin just for the fun to see how it would handle out. Even that looks better then it's original.

I competely remade Veldin; so it suits it's personality. I also made a new deviantart account: http://infernoxdragon.deviantart.com/

Also this is my finalised Veldin drawing:
