| Quote (WARSOUND) If the swimming portions were going to be as lame as they were in the games after GC, then I don't mind. The Original R&C had supreme swimming segments, with time straints, hazards, ring challenges, and where you had to earn certain supplies. GC had some decent swimming segments as well. After that, swimming portions were just water-based areas that had no real purpose. Q4B was the only FUTURE game that got close to some good swimming areas. I have to agree. From GC onward, the purpose of water as a gameplay element was kept mainly as a passageway. It's a shame too, I was hoping that Insomniac would use water much more in this game. For example I was hoping that we could use weapons in the water, or Ratchet would be able to scuba dive and dig up raritanium in an area like Hoolefar Island. (Similar to the Wastelands and the Desert in GC)
