You may be thinking: "Isn't today Martin Luther King Day?" Well, if so, you are correct. But, did you know our friends Ratchet and Clank celebrate a completely different holiday? That's right, they celebrate Universal Hug-a-Cragmite Day! So, go find yourself a Cragmite and hug that big lug. Just be careful of any spikes, pinchers, sharp teeth, or weapons they may have. Like they used to say, it's a fun Universal Hug-a-Cragmite Day until someone gets anniliated by a rouge Cragmite!
Look, he has his arms already open for a big ol' hug. Doesn't he look like a...um..."cute" little fellow to hug?
I’m not much of a handy man…and it’s all my fault. My dad has been involved with hardware and remodeling his entire life. He never ceases to amaze me with his work and his attention to detail. He mixes cases of paint by eye, constructed a 20×20 barn without using a single nail and has rejuvenated countless homes. Yet when I was growing up my head was buried in cartoons and comics.
Well it’s been busy getting back to work, hitting the ground running and trying not to trip! Things are going pretty well, even though we nearly killed ourselves re-skinning the site, I feel pretty refreshed and am excited to get back to a normal schedule. I haven’t had too much time to fill the moleskin these days though. That’s one thing I will find a way to squeeze back into life. I picked it up this morning and was re-inspired to hit the ink again and see what not having "undo” can unleash! I’m back t... Read more »
Some of our fans have a lot of free time on their hands. And that is AWESOME.
Exhibit A: this amazing stainless steel, laser-engraved Lombax Scrabble set crafted by Insomniac forum member and font creator Paul Grzelak.

For a detailed breakdown of the creation of this unique collectible you can check out Grzelak’s blog ... Read more »

We began CreatureBox two and a half years ago almost as a dare. Could a couple dudes with stupidly busy lives pull off an art blog on a regular basis? We really didn’t have a clue but foolishly jumped into the deep end anyway. Thankfully for you guys, we’re still swimming.
Over the last year we knew the site needed a significant makeover. The previo... Read more »
Just a minor update this time around (It seems like we have them often, don't we? ) To start off the new year, I decided a new top banner would be nice. As always, you can tell us what you think by way of the Galactic Poll, or in the comments section below. I hope you all like it.
Well, it's been a fun and interesting first few months for all of us at the Phoenix, and we are looking forward to a brand new year. We hope you all have enjoyed your time here and away from here in your daily lives. May your next 365 days be blessed ones.
We will hopefully have much more exciting events and other things for you all (nothing planned yet) in this coming year, and hopefully our community will grow.
As a final note, does anyone have a resolution for the coming year (or even decade) of 2010? If so, and you don't mind sharing, feel free to tell us in the comments section below.
