From Insomniac Games:

Join the Resistance (for half-price)!

Resistance 2 has officially joined Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Resistance: Fall of Man in the PS3 Greatest Hits line-up. Insomniac's third game to receive this honor, R2 is now available for half-price in North America for $29.99.

In this first-person shooter, you'll fight off the Chimeran invasion as it reaches the shores of the United States in the single-player campaign, or tackle one of our two distinct multi-player modes. You can spend countless hours online with up to seven friends in the unique 8-player cooperative mode, or start a clan and join the forums on MyResistance.net to share stats and compete in the 60-player mayhem of Resistance 2 competitive MP matches.

Now is the perfect time to jump into the Resistance universe! Grab a new copy if you're just picking up a PS3 Slim, or recruit your friends into joining the ranks if you're a Resistance veteran! It's a good time to be an Insomniac fan - we'll see you online!

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is a huge event in the annual calendar for professional and would-be-professional video game creators. Held in downtown San Francisco, the week-long event is host to lectures and demonstrations from industry-leading developers who share ideas, technology, and methodology with their peers.

At this year's event, several Insomniacs spoke at the main conference and gave tutorials including Engine Director Mike Acton, Director of Brand Development Ryan Schneider, Designer Jennifer Canada and Senior Tools and Technology Engineer Jim Van Verth.
