What We Know:

Heroes On The Move mixes three classic PlayStation franchises (Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper) into a single game made specially for the Move. The trailer showed very little in terms of gameplay, but we were able to get some hands on time with the game at Gamescom, to find out exactly how it plays.
 
What We're Seeing Now:
 
It will probably come as no surprise to you that Heroes On The Move is a minigame collection. However, it's probably one of the more competent minigame collections that I've seen. I’ve been a supporter of Insomniac Games ever since I played Spyro the Dragon on the original PlayStation that still sits proudly beneath my TV. Therefore, it was a genuine Pleasure to meet the company’s President, Ted Price, at gamescom in Cologne.

First of all, I was keen to hear how it felt to finally spill the beans on the two PlayStation 3 games, Ratchet & Clank All 4 One and Resistance 3, that they have been secretly working on.

Insomniac guides us through a demo of its newly unveiled co-op Ratchet game.

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One was unveiled last night at Sony's GamesCom 2010 press conference. There are two big features that separate this Ratchet from previous games in the series. For one, it's the first title to come from Insomniac's offshoot North Carolina studio that the developer opened up in early 2009. But more importantly, All 4 One will give players the chance to play through a Ratchet with co-op supporting up to four players. We just had a look at this new spin on the series courtesy of Insomniac, giving us a chance to learn quite a bit more about it than what we gleaned from last night's press conference.
